This fabric mosaic was made using fabrics which are fused to a background.  The left side panel was made by Gwen Gwinner of Willard, Ohio.  Gwen is a fabulous quilt artist and has quilted several of my mosaic quilts.  She added the dazzling left hand side cityscape panel to the mosaic.  She has used crystals, tulle and quilting to take my mosaic to a new level.

quilter that has made this quilt is very talented.

Who did the quilt of Satchmo.  Give credit to the real quilt.  Did Gwen do that?

Diana made the Louis Armstrong mosaic, and I made the left-side addition and quilted it for her, so it could travel and be entered into shows. It was made for a particlar venue and needed to be a certian width, so the addition of the city-scape was added.  This piece is a collaboration between Diana and me. She is the owner of this piece, and did a wonderful likeness of Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong. It was a pleasure working with the her, and my favorite of the pieces I've had the pleasure of quilting for her. ~ Gwen Gwinner

Diana you and Gwen are a unbeatable pair on this quilt. The two parts are great together and blend as if done by one person.
