This was a moment I captured from my garden. It is a quilted silk batik with individually made Buddleia flowers and machine embroidered butterflies with some applied paint to the background.
Very special indeed. My neighbor lady has two of these plants, she cannot see them, so she was very pleased when I told her that they were always fluttering with butterflies... She has a white & lavender Buddleia. Thanks for the inspiration, maybe??? I will get up enough ambition & time to surprise her with a wall hanging.
