I hope someone can help me.....This isn't what was aired. It was Judy Coates Perez but what she used was boiling water along with a powder color remover. That's what I'm looking for and said it would be on the site. I can't find that one. It was on #902. Then at the end was a lady that made a quilt, black material with an applique in the center and used colored thread around it. It was beautiful. Said that would be on the site. It aired on KACV(Amarillo) Saturday May 12, 2011. That is what I am looking for. Where can I see what was done and how to do it. I found the powder and now I'm stuck and want to try a quilt like the last lady made..
I agree, I too was looking for the show with the boiling water and the powder color remover. I have been trying to find out what kind of powder she used. Is it a special one or just RIt Dye. I finally found something on the web (googled) and I think it is just Rit Dye color remover. Frustrating that this site isn't correct or at least corrected when it is mentioned. I have looked all over this site to try and find this section.
I am looking for that same information as well. I bought Rit Color remover. It is in a powder in a box. I also bought Rit liquid dye. I was excited to do this project. I am looking for the information on the process as well as the wrapping and folding to get the design patterns. I didn't notice it in the download either.
I am also looking for that show.
There is a reason for that, They don't tell all, so you have to buy the book or dvd to get the information.
how long has your show been on??? omg i love your program thank you. i remember when tie-dye was the thing 45 years ago, i made a couple of shirts, but soon to be 61, and just learning how to quilt, i get to revisit one of my childhood moments tie-dying=hippy days, lol. thank you..
Use the Download Now button above. Join the site and you can get your information. This is a great site!!! Glad I watched the program on TV!! Very Happy.
