Water Colours - watercolour paper with Pelican paints, Perfect Pearls, Perfect Paper Adhesive Gloss over green silk duppioni. Stitched with metallic Wonderfil and Madeira threads. Wrapped and knotted cords. Metal leaf. Beads.

This is so intriguing I had to take a closer look. The dimensions and texture are unique & compelling ; I'll be looking into the 'Perfect" items you mention above for new tools and inspiration!

Beautiful. Texture is what makes a piece come to life, IMHO. Muted tones mixed with what looks complex, however is basically simple is what creates the intrigue in this piece. 

Love it.
