A large commissioned hand painted silk art quilt. This was silk paintedincluding  each petal , the centers, foliagr and leaves. Then  were appliqed on. I used extensive thread painting to add depth and more realism. Finally I quilted it.

Beautiful & the sunflowers look so very hot & sunny like they should..
