Haven't quite finish yet but thought  I would post anyway.  Each piece (bird, leaves, flower) was painted separately and then appliqued  I painted everything with either shiva paintstiks,  inktense pencils and water soluble pastels .  I have moved and hopefully after everything has settle down I will be able to finish.

I thought it was finished....lovely soft colors, also the design is so pretty & unique.

Hi Edyth, RuedOak,  Thank you for the complements.  I plan on finishing it but,  a lot has been going on since I posted this quilt.  I moved to Arizona and about a month after I moved here discovered I had breast cancer.  I had a 2 Lumptecomies, double mastectomy and reconstruction all in the since April 2012.   Never a dull moment in my life.  Luckily I have a wonderful boyfriend and children who have been a great support system for me.  There will be more quilts to come..... right now my boyfriend is in the progress of building a workshop so he can turn the garage into a quilt studio for me .   :))
