almost 1 year ago we lost everything in an apartment fire. i took bits and pieces of the clothes,curtains,etc. from our home and made a quilt top from them. i used a machine that was graciously donated to me. i enjoyed creating this beauty from so much chaos. i will be quilting it next month on the anniversary of the fire. I will be doing this to express my eternal optimism and hope for not only our future but the other 9 families and the 24 children that lived there.
