'Therese Quilt' from 1969, a self portrait, was influenced by the
repetitive portraits of Andy Warhol and also my grandmother who made all
sorts of items of clothing and knitted mittens with no pattern. She
made good use of what she had. The 'Therese Quilt' was all made from
