just thought Ide share this pic of my last 4 kaleidoscope quilts,to show my favorite part of working in a series is when you get them all together and finally see them yourself , they are better than the sum of the parts
working on #5 now , kinda got up yesterday with maroon seafoam green and purple running around somewhere in my head ,dont know where those flashes come from so made this composite pic to see where I could try to do something differant ,every kalidescope is differant like a snowflake you cant reproduce any of them but as a series you want well... just really differant if you can get it ,I wont know if its good until after I am finished with it , alot of work wasted if it doesnt come out well but thats the gamble I guess , wish me well :)
So inspiring, thank you!
I'd love to see your Kalidescope quillt in a maroon/seafoam green/purple combination! We have a heather plant in our garden that shares those colours with a "hens and chicks" directly beside it. It's one of my favourite gardening "accidents"!
Thanks for putting up your group photo! It's amazing how different they all are.
Lovely! Always wanted to do a series of kaleidoscope quilts, but never had the courage to tackle such a large project. Congratulations! Well done.
lol my first serial comment on my series , one of the fun of this series is that its only one at a time and stops when I get bored with it
