In the February/March 2013 issue of Quilting Arts, the a group of artists gathered at Frances Holliday Alford's Vermont studio to create the quilt, "Exquisite Journey". In this photo, artist Victoria Findlay Wolfe models her partially completed panel.

This is an amaizing beautiful group quilt you must all be very proud! I'm intrigued by the different pictures appliqued throught the quilt especially  Kathy yorks family tree. Can you explain what the ladders are reaching up to the clouds and one member half way up the ladder are these children and one possibly on the way? I would love to know the idea about it.
