My interpretation of  Czech Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha's "Autumn" in fabric and thread. A wall hanging measuring 21 1/2' x 36" and incorporating thread painting and  Angelina Fibers for her hair, sheer organza gathered and hand stitched for her gown, fusing of the main body parts, leaves, bowl, arbor posts and grapes, thread painting for her floral wreath in her hair, sheer overlays in the bottom portion over a Moda fabric with gold, green, orange and rust, satin stitching, machine quilting, fabric paint, Pigma Pens, Shiva Paintstiks and glass beading.

I have always loved the work of Mucha and wish to interpret his works and those of some of the pre-Raphealites in fabric and thread.
