One of the teachers at my son's school needed a gift to bring to Ottawa for a workshop they were attending.

She hired me to make her a bookbag. I thought the Parliament buildings would be very appropriate, eventhough

these ones are from Victoria, BC.

Oh I also forgot...I used a white metallic acrylic for the moon and lights on the lamp. All just folk art paint.

I love it!   By the way, my husband and I will be in Ottawa at the beginning of June.  He will be in meetings during the day and I will have free time.  Can you recommend any quilt shops for me to check out? Thanks so much!
