This journal was created by painting 2 layers of Lutrador with setacolour inks. I burned out the top layer of the lutrador, fused the two together and free-motion stitched around the wheat and the moon.

That journal makes me want to sit under a tree on a warm summer afternoon and write, draw, paint ideas for future projects. The organic look is nicely balanced with elegance- great job.

A "Harvest Moon" journal. It makes me want to pick it up and start writing/sketching. Good Work!

Peaceful - love the colors and the composition. Did you make a journal for the inside or make a cover to fit a journal? Curiosity, you know... :)

I actually just took some 8 x 11 drawing paper and folded it in half to make the inside of the journal.

Lovely idea!  I now live in the Rockie Mountains in Alberta, Canada but lived in the Prairies most of my life.  I miss the rolling hills and valleys and the sunsets with big orange moons.  I am going to have to try something like that for my sketching journal.  Thanks for the inspiration.
