Black lutradur painted with several layers of  Lumiere paints, foiled and then more paint and then fused to Timtex. This surface looks like old weathered copper in person.   It's terribly hard to get a good photo of that really shows how shimmery the surface is.  It's terribly hard to get a good photo of that really shows how shimmery the surface is.

I really like this piece too. I was just at my local quilt shop and the owner was saying she is going to get some blace lutrador in. I can't wait.

Now I LIKE that! I recently made a clam shell box and just couldn't quite decide on the covering. This would've benn ideal. Are you going to write a book on lutrador use soon?!!

Thanks everyone for the very nice comments about my lutradur box!  Caz I have no plans for a book but I am planning a new online class about working with it.
