Button table folk art piece!

I am so proud of this piece because I worked a long time on it! It is my brand new Button Star Table, it is covered with plastic buttons in the shape of a country star! I think that I am going to make some more tables like this to keep me inspired to create more Fiber Art!

OOOooo... Look at all of those buttons that are on the table! WOW! I would love to see if anyone elses has any Button Art to share?!

This is the first time I have really looked at this site even though I am a member of QA now for at least two or three years.  I have really fallen for your art -- thanks!  I am watching your discharged fabric video from here in Africa where the internet is slow (I have to keep going back to it because it won't stream) and I am using the waiting time to search out your art.  I LOVE this table!  I am interested in mosaics as well as fiber and this table is so creative (by the way, I got a wonderful Kaffe Fassett book about mosaics you would LOVE!  It shows mosaics using all kinds of things other than your standard tile or stone -- but I don't recall buttons....).  I also love your (yes, messy) studio.  It shows you do a lot of work there.  Since my home in the US is always messy because of the kids and I have no studio space other than a table in the play room I was afraid to let loose.  Well, seeing your studio has changed my mind.  Thanks Smidgen!
