normajean! it is a wonderful transformation! i think i need you to hop over to my place and help me tame my wild fabrics! ;)
Beautiful job, Normajean. My studio could sure use a taming like that. :)
What a wonderfully organized and functional make-over! I am so inspired. My best take-away: put the power strips on top of the tables -can see and really beats crawling under tables and desks...and wondering if I'll be able to get up. Duh!
It looks wonderful. Congratulations! What ideas do you have for a studio that is 9 1/2' by 12' and MUST include a hide-a-bed for guests?
Regarding guest bedding solution for your studio
You might want to consider purchasing a Murphy bed that closes up to the wall when not in use. These are gaining popularity again and the perfect solution to a full size bed when the occasional guest stops by. Your other choice might be the obvious sofa bed that can also be a nice comfy place to stitch when folded away. I hope that this is helpful.

Normajean,
You are an inspiration to those of us who need to seriously tackle the clutter issues in our studios, myself included.
My only question is....Where did you hide all the stuff? :^)

I LOVE the before and after pictures you've shared. What an inspiration! I have printed them out to help me as I tackle my work area. Wish me luck!
