Paper Horses Journal Quilt.  Created from paper images from a book about horses.  The images were placed on fusible web and ironed in place, then  basted onto batting and fabric backing.  I free motion quilted this piece and fused the binding. The last process was using a distress ink pad over the entire surface to blend all the images together as one.  This also enhanced the quilting stitches.  It was fun to sew through the fabric, I found it to be soothing and therapeutic.  This was created as a teaching sample for a Permission 2 Play class at JanniLou Creations Quilt Shop.

Oh, how neat! I've never seen this technique! Really love the results.
