Lutradur Journal covers use techniques of colouring, burning, stitching, foiling and embellishing. I had a blast making it!!
I. Love. This.
Bookbinding is a side hobby of mine and this is just spectacular. What kind of paper did you use for the signatures? It looks like hand-made or watercolor with a deckled edge? SO beautiful!
Thanks! The text paper is just sheets of 11x17 Classic Crest that have been torn down to the correct size - that gives it the faux deckle edge.
This is fantastic. I love these colours. What ois classic crest?
Hi Jody! Thanks! Classic Crest is the text paper I used. It's a nice paper, but not acid free. It's what I had handy! And it's a class sample, probably not a book I'll fill.
Thanks for commenting! Suzanne
Your book is beautiful - well done
I love it ! it gives us the desire to use lutradur !
I love this. Love the color. You are inspiring me to pull out and finally plug in my textile tool. Thanks for sharing.
