I took liberty with a Ricky Timms convergence pattern and added silk flowers I bought at wal-mart. I took all the stems and leaves off of the flowers and sewed the flowers on with some beading. I added some of the leaves back on to create my own spring garden that I have hanging on my computer hutch in my bedroom. It lifts my spirits everytime I look at it. I thought it needed something in the open corner so I got a butterfly with a clip to add even more color and demention! I hope this little quilt brings you all some spring joy as well! Nancy

Nancy,

Thank you for this beautiful quilt.  I am in the middle of making my first Ricky Tims convergence quilt.  What you have done with the flowers is wonderful.  I hope you don't mind if I steal this idea.  How beautiful!!  How beautiful!!!!
