thought maybe I wasnt the only one that have this problem, seems whenever a animal can park his can on my quilts they will do it , its always a fight to even pick one up to quilt :) I think dogs and especially cats know how special a hand made quilt is and that it must be for them

And your scent is allllllllll over it, which makes it even more appealing. Great photo LOL.

I love this photo too.  There is something about having their person sit still quilting that appeals to them too.  I work on one end while the dog trys to wrap up in the other end.  I have a dog who has decided that my studio is her room.  It must be the good vibes.  It is very hard not to sew dog hair into quilts.

Great photo. I thought I had it bad with 1 cat. I have a dedicated sheep skin rug sitting on top of a tallboy dresser that looks out of a window for my cat in my studio. Do you think that this is where she likes to lay? Of course not! She has to lay on top of the quilt I am trying to piece and or free-motion quilt. Crazy animals!!!!! How boring would life be without them.

I love your little family! I only have one cat but she sheds like a whole lot more! I call her my little quality control kitty. She tests out my quilts even before they are finished! She is my little q.c. I do not know what I'd do without her. Nancy

This is a great photo. I have a Rat Terrier who looks so much like yours . Does your like to hind under and burrow under the quilts? My  Ratter also has a cat companion as well as other canine ones.

That is JuJu , shes about 7 now , I also have a black peekapoo pup , the one that ate my QA :) the kittys got homes so now I have one long hair black male cat that is always in my face and two cats that just tolerate me long enough to eat and go out, people dont dump animals much anymore out here in the country but I have a grown daughter that thinks I want everyone she finds :(  So I always have to many , I'm a sucker I know  :)

Not a sucker at all....more of a savior! My 2 quilt lovin' kitties are both rescues. Boxer, he likes to just lounge around on anything I happen to be working on and the other, Nala,  "helps" with quilt block layouts. Mostly she gets a running start and scatters them everywhere. Somehow, I never get mad. Can't help but laugh...they are so cute.

I had to write on this one-it is precious!! And I feel so much better now...since I now have six indoor kitties-one of whom was mine and the rest who were "relatives that never left" so to speak! Thank you for this-I feel so much better now that I am not so alone battling the "kitty kat tug of war" on my quilts-but only while I am quilting on them-never when just covering a bed or chair-unless I am working there too! This is great! By the way-want a lovely kitten??
