This was based on a Father's Day weekend we spent in Orange Beach. THe dolphins were everywhere. It was amazing. We stood on the balcony and watched them swim up and down the shore. I used fused raw edge applique as well as traditional piecing, curved piecing and needle-turne applique. After machine quilting I added beading to add emphasis. Which of course does not show up in the picture.
