This little quilt measures 14" x 19" and was an assignment for a class I took with Jane LaFazio through Joggles.com. I worked on it for a long time and then put it aside- I guess in part I burned out on it and in part because I didn't trust my machine skills to finish stitching the smaller fused pieces. Today I bullied through that fear and completed it. Then I used machine-wrapped cording to bind it, which was maybe the cheater's way out of doing a traditional binding, but I honestly do prefer to create unusual and textural bindings.

I really like this piece. I am not at all familiar with Jane LaFazio but am going to check her out if this is the kind of thing ya get from her class. Your quilting looks great and I like the un-traditional binding as well, I thinks it adds so much more to the piece. Nancy

Jane is a neat lady and a talented mixed-media quilter, her class was a lot of fun. :D Thanks for the kind words on this little lost orphan quilt... I can't believe how glad I am to have it finished! :D
