Here's a quilt I made after reading Melody Johnson's article in QA summer 2004 - "Releasing the Creative Block".

I used both commercial and hand painted fabrics. Raw edge machine applique, machine piecing, and machine quilted.

I love LOVE this! The colors vibrate....and the hand-dyed fabric.... so cool! Oooo AHhhhh...

I love the colour of this quilt and the overall design. This combines many of my favourite colours and techniques together.
