I have always been a sewer and have used quilting techniques but because I never made a quilt I never thought of myself as a quilter. When I first saw Quilting Arts Magazine I was blown away. I was a quilter! I now say it with pride. My first love is hat making, embroidery and costuming but anything involving a needle and thread excites me.
