I've been quilting for about 15 years, but started making art quilts only a few years ago. I practiced law in Texas for almost 30 years, then retired to Arkansas 4 years ago. I have since gone back to work, but I'm looking forward to retiring next year so that I can spend more time quilting. One of my Journal Quilts was juried into the Houston Quilt Project in 2008. I also write, and just recently had a short story published by the Spanish-language literary magazine of the University of Arkansas at Ft. Smith. My bio "picture" is actually a photograph of a fabric portrait that I made after taking a Quilt University class. Although it's not a good likeness of me, you would be able to recognize me based on the portrait.
