Hi, I'm Cathy Willoughby . I' ve been quilting since 1972. I started out making traditional pieced quilts and still enjoy making them. However, after 16 years of Quilting-By-the -Lake workshops my style has become more abstract . I' ll try any technique once and really enjoy dyeing, painting and stamping fabric. Next step is to actually cut those fabrics! I like to use humour in my quilts both in subject and in titles. Two of my latest series have been inspired by elevator and bathroom floors and rear views of trucks.
