My Bio

Hello! My name is Pippa Eccles and I'm a new Assistant Editor at Quilting Arts Magazine. I'm so excited to be a part of the QA team, especially since I've loved to make things with my hands for as long as I can remember. I made my first full quilt the summer after my freshman year at college and was immediately hooked. Since then, I've made everything from traditional and contemporary quilts to patchwork pillow, clothing and accessories. Now that I work for Quilting Arts Magazine, I'm looking forward to picking up lots of new techniques and methods for my sewing, quilting and other crafting projects! I'm also a big fan of knitting, swimming, reading whatever I can get my hands on, and baking bread. I come from a big, creative family of two sisters and a brother. My family owns two English bulldogs, a black labrador, and dozens of chickens, so we certainly have a full house. I personally own a floppy-eared rabbit named Shuffle who brings me endless joy.
