2 painted lace bracelets

Inpired by "three creative studios" tutorial, I painted lace upon a background of fabric scraps. Then, added some embellishments such as heat fusible stones, beads, buttons and a thread butterfly that was free motion stitched on solvy. At last, I zigzag stitched a copper wire all around for shaping and closed each cuff with a button. See above a photo of the open  rectangles.

  1. Mmmm!  I love what you have done! Clever idea with the copper, what gauge did you use?

I’ve been wondering about this project and you have jolted me into giving it a go!

    Thank you for sharing.

  2. Hi, Anne, thanks for your comment ! I used Pebeo textile paints, mostly the transparent ones and a touch of opaque ones. I had some foil fixed on as well, using “steam-a-seam” fusible web.
