#6 stray Kaleidoscope series

Well this is #6 in my stray K series, I had a flock of abandoned pups to find homes for before it was finished but they are fine now so back to what I love quilts, There is a rhythm to it all and I hope I can find it again, I have a box of scraps coming from The best Kaleidoscope maker in the world , how fun is that and hope it will get me going again. This series is about 4 ft sq and as always completely handmade. If you have watched my Kaleidoscopic journey you should know the sewing part of it has been fun and easy and relaxing for me ,the design work has been … well fun but not easy , As I sat with this pile of fabric and my vellum pie slice I looked down and it was already designed ,instead of lots of hairpulling it seemed to design itself and was basically done , I dont know what that means but thought it important to say , I know I hope that all of them from now on will just come out of the ether like that but figure it was some kind of mental fluke. As always I enjoy showing them off on here and hope to hear anything you have to say about them no matter what I need feedback good and bad and in between   Thanks and hope you enjoy them 🙂

  1. I have always loved symetry and you have made it beautiful with your choice of colors and fabric patterns. It has given me an idea for my next backpack  ThNkyou

  2. I love it.  It reminds me of lovely butterflies and your background is very interesting too.  Was it a photograph printed on to material.  Yes – do you ever sleep?  Look forward to seeing more.  Thank you.

  3. Thanks all , No Quine its not printed its little tiny fussy cut pieces all put together one piece at a time, but if I ever can get good quality photos I would love to get them printed on fabric on spoonflower
