Betty’s Uncle

10'x12" piece. Done for a friend whose uncle is turning 80. I was especially  pleased with finding just the right fabric for the sunglasses. Sheer brown ribbon enabling you to see the eyes behind the glasses.

  1. In addition to the great work on the sunglasses, I like the overall composition. The darks carry my eye around the piece. And the glasses give such strong focus.

  2. Wonderful piece. I’ve done sunglasses once and it is a challenge. I used some sheer black organza type fabric. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing.  Carol C
