  1. Amazing – just amazing and wonderful! The dimension and texture are definitively excellent. Keep up the great work and lets see many more exciting dimensional pieces in QA publications! Can’t wait for the calendar and YOUR work there on some lucky month’s page!

  2. Woodenville?  Are you from Quilters Annonymous?  Or APNQ? maybe NQC?

It is nice to see someone from my neck of the woods.  Great work!

Whidbey (can you guess where I am from)

  3. Why is this so impressive? (and it is) is it because we are amazed at the realness of the piece? is it because we are in awe of the techniques used which we can’t figure or is it the creativity behind it all? I congratulate you for all of the above.

  4. This piece is as wonderful as your other entry. I hope they are both in the calendar. I am from Gig Harbor, Washington. I am so impressed with your creativity and talent.

  5. Wonderful techniques and beautiful composition. The 3-D effect is terrific, making your images much more life-like than we usually see in quilts. I hope this is in the calendar and I hope the magazine does a story on your work!

  6. Living in Redmond, WA, I can understand the inspiration!  Diane, your work is so lovely, your work really captures “dimension,” and my gardner husband even took notice!
