I made this quilt for a fundraising gallery show and benefit for BEHIV , an HIV and AIDS service organization in Chicago.

The quilt is made from a vest from India I found in a resale shop and carefully unassembled.

The blocks are crazy-pieced by machine using the vest fabric, then embellished using glass beads as well as the buttons and decorative objects from the vest. The "Dreams" title came from the original label from the vest.

The borders and binding are made from scrap fabric and hand beaded.
