I suspect that tree roots are often as entangled as the ones I encountered on the streams edge but we rarely seem them. The occasional storm has eroded the bank and exposed the closeness and support of these trees for each other. They spoke to me of sisters or twins or lovers holding each other through life.
The trees are made from fibers, torn fabric and ribbons. The stream layers of tulle over cotton batik. The stream pebbles are small stone beads, buttons and I have included a frog bead.
