Forest Floor piece

This piece was made as a interpretation piece for the Art in Fiber Show 2011 at The Copper Shade Tree Gallery in Round Top, TX. Show dates Feb.4-Mar 12. Click on photo to see details.Hand dyed and hand painted fabrics, batiks, paper cloth, paper clay, assorted yarns and threads. Hand and machine stitch.   2. Thanks Peggy for your comment. It is fun to share and see what everyone is doing. This piece was labor intensive but fun to make the individual pieces and put them together into something that kind of tells a story. Yes, there is magic in the forest!!

  3. Thanks Meta and Cousette for your comments. It was a lot of detail work. I think I may have over worked it a bit but at this point it is what it is. It was fun to make the individual pieces .Putting it all together was a challenge.
