Thread storage

This is the way I store my threads, in a "caddy" I built myself. I used a flat, shallow box and cut a piece of styrafoam to fit inside it. Then I took a piece of white fun foam (I prefer white, though it comes in many colors, because I don't want the color of the foam competing with the colors of the thread when I'm picking which to use next), placed it on top and stabbed wooden skewers into it. I clipped off the skewers to the proper height. I just made the empty one last night because all my other units are full. I like keeping rows for the bobbins, because that way I don't have to constantly rewind only one or two bobbins with desired colors.
