Vasarely’s Clown

this is a quilt I'm now hand quilting that is based on a pic of Victor Vasarely op art the Harliquin , I see that Anna Faustino has a book on a high tech way of doing this background but mine is low tech , one piece at a time,I look forward to seeing how she does it all ,  I finally took pics at every step and am going to make a slide show of the making of it , it should be finished in about a month, I am quilting it with the 4 of the world's hardest mazes on the back , I looked at the pic for 15 yrs before figureing out how to make it ,

How wonderful.  It really caught my attention the moment the page of thumbnails came up.  Even better when the photo is bigger.

    I love it.

  2. Thanks  , no one has seen it yet so this is a sneak peak, so I havent got a clue if anyone will like it or not, I never do Im just out there by myself on anything I come up with at this point,  I was told those fabrics just wont work together when I started it but in my little twisted mind they did so as usual I just keep going , everything was straight out of my stash except the border which I used to pull the other fabrics , I’m a big fan of the peep hole to see how visual it will be , without that my mind couldnt see hardly anything , I am going to set the slide show with “Good bye Cruel world I’m off the join the circus”    🙂

  3. Amazing , he is doing so many tricks at one time, can not figure out how many. He is definitely a contortionist!!! LOL

I always have to look at my work upside down  for perspective and I would love to see this quilt from ALL directions.

    Cant wait for your slideshow!!!

  4. got to get a pic of me hand quilting it and thats a hard one for me to take 🙂 and one of it all finished and then I will make it . Looking at them upside down is a good ideal, I havent ever considered that  , I look at them thru the peep hole on the wall and know they change when put on a bed,
