Quilting Arts TV Episode 107

107 Quilting Every Day
Experienced artists in every discipline know that creating a little art every day is a great way to hone skills and find inspiration. We start out with baseball card-sized artist trading cards; they are little and quick and great way to practice skills.  Then it’s Pearl Krush with a baby ensemble and tote – quilting every day means adding quilting to wearables and home dec.  Then its time to chronicle life’s moments by printing on fabric for a scrapbook effect with Andrea Bishop.   Next Sue Hausmann shows how to make embroidered quilt blocks and how to hoop and stitch the designs so they look hand stitched.  Last up Natalya Aikens challenges us with a series of journal quilts – 1 per week to test different materials and techniques.
