Quilting Arts TV Episode 1012: Artfully Pieced

Contemporary quilters are redefining just what modern means. First, Heather Jones presents a scrappy contemporary log cabin pillow with a modern quilt aesthetic. Then meet Deborah Boschert for illuminated letters—using text as a design element for one-of-a-kind quilts. She presents a technique for creating monograms and initial letters out of foil paper. We finish up with expert Ana Buzzalino for the first of her machine quilting tutorials. Today she reviews accessories that make machine quilting easier.

  1. Referring tv audience to access your website is useless. Instead of finding out information about a project, all one gets is a photo. I saw that on the program. Why should I even bother checking your website?

  2. Maybe one of the least helpful web sites I’ve seen. I was trying to find supplies for an episode I watched today. Finally had to go to the artist’s web site to find it.

  3. I LOVE THE SHOW, BUT WANTED TO FIND OUT MORE INFO RE SKETCHING AND PAINTING ON FABRIC. NOTHING HERE EXCEPT A PHOTO. I WAS THINKING ABOUT SUBSCRIBING TO THE MAGAZINE,, BUT NOW THINKING TWICE ABOUT THAT. WHY NOT GET HIRE (FOR FREE) LOCAL STUDENTS AT TEXTILE ART COLLEGES TO HELP UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE?

  4. This link may have been added later, but today all I did was click on the far right menu on Thread Sketching and got a chance to download a quite wonderful e-book about this technique, and the e-book download is free! This is fantastic!
