Quilting Arts TV Episode 210

210 Graphic Elements
Just about any design can be considered a graphic element.  In particular the collage trend has its roots in graphic design where words are used for both their meaning and their appearance.   First up, Laura and Linda Kemshall are back to describe how they work their creative ideas out in sketchbooks long before they turn to cloth.  Next Beth Wheeler creates an artists canvas with a kaleidoscope image. Then meet Marinda Stewart for a demonstration of fusing on paper with liquid thread and crystals.  Finally on our machine quilting segment, Sue Hausmann explores channel quilting and decorative stitches.
