Quilting Arts TV Episode 213

213 Basics

Whether you’re a beginner quilter or a seasoned pro; it’s always a good lesson to start with the basics.  First, we’re creating and organizing a recipe box to keep your favorite methods at hand, plus we’ll review the “Top Ten” notions, no quilter should be without.  Then its basics with Linda Kemshall.  She explains color and contrast by showing how the right color of thread can completely change the appearance of your quilt.  Then it’s a quick fabric and paper printing tip. Next Judy Coates Perez takes the inside out with a nine patch quilt made from painted batting.  Last up is Sue Hausmann and taking your quilting to the next level with a quilting frame and time saving tools.
