Quilting Arts TV Episode 1106: Creative Approaches to Quilting

We all approach projects in our own way-sometimes we start with a color, sometimes it’s a technique, and sometimes we unearth a forgotten tool to get us motivated. Libby Lehman is back with her favorite presser feet. Then, meet Luana Rubin for a discussion of quilting styles from around the world. Finally, Carol Ann Waugh introduces us to easy and fun hand embroidery techniques for surface embellishment.

  1. I’ve never seen anything like that rolling foot. I cannot find one online for sale under rolling quilt foot or leatherworking. Where do you get one? I can see all kinds of uses for that foot!!!

  2. First, I love this show and magazine. Libby Lehman showed a roller foot (she also called it a leather foot) that I would like to purchase for my Janome machine but can’t seem to find it anywhere. Can you tell me where it is available? Thanks so much!

  3. I missed this segment. Could someone please post the list of feet she demonstrated?

I’ve asked my son to help me look for the show online, but a list would be a good place to start.

    Thank you.

  4. The rolling quilting foot is for the Bernina Sewing Machine. You will find it online at their website. But, I believe it will only work on Bernina machines. I have it, and it really does work!

  5. I don’t know if anyone ever got an answer for the rolling quilt foot, but I found one call the Leather roller foot #55 for Bernina. The picture looks exactly like the one on the episode #1106 with Libby Lehman. Hope it helps.
