  • Springtime

This was made for a small quilt exchange on Quilter's Gallery. The theme was "New Beginnings" and to me springtime definitely is a time of New Beginnings. Overall it is a painted whole cloth quilt with some of the leaves and the bird appliquéd. 16X20 in.

  • Treasure

This has been finished a little while, I kept forgetting to post it. This piece started out with playing with paint on fabric. Later I came back to it deciding that it looked like an underwater sean, I added more paint and markers, then machine quilted it. I thought it called for a Mermaid and started...

  • Bird Nest Quilt

This is a small quilt piece I created using many scraps, fiber, threads and fragments to make a nest. I inserted a fabric transfer bird into the middle. I further embellished the work with beads, buttons, and a small twig. I like to save my little scraps and threads in a little basket next to my sewing...
