  • a window to India

    The four squares in the center were a reverse appliqué exercise, with embroidered seams ,combining yarns and decorative stitches.I also added free hand and machine embroidery,laces ,beads, shisha mirrors...everybody told me it looked indian, so I created an indian style frame all round with jasmine...

  • Amish dream

    Went wandering with fabric scraps from a wavy log cabin. They suggested a hilly landscape.I free motionned everything ,used angelina fibers around the sun,and some tulle. Then I added some Amish people (buttons) to give more life to that dreamy land. 8"x8".

  • a breath of spring

    I first painted the background with fabric paints. Then I used the punch machine , appliquéing grass and herbs (wool, bits of fabrics) and I stuck the flowers and leaves with bondaweb. At last I secured the plants with free motion stitching.
