A sunflower for Marie

My boyfriend and I designed this quilt, a 65th birthday present for his mom, Marie. It is heavily quilted, 100% cotton fabrics, crazy quilt center, traditional pieced background, flower was appliqued in layers, free-motion quilting with sunflowers quilted into the yellow border. So much fun to make!...
