    This quilt was created from an original drawing of my favorite green chair. It is machine pieced using only solid colored fabrics and machine quilted with black thread as in the Amish tradition.

    Being a non quilter I've always wondered this too. Particularly when an official bod answered my query with "the usual two layers" - errrrrrm I thought "the usual" was THREE layers. Then someone went to a show and came back and told me there was a piece made up of broken china...

  • Gradation Dyeing

    Another successful day in the dye vats, with a few small issues. This batch is Procion MX Dyes, lemon yellow into bright scarlet. I'll make living room curtains with this colorway.
