  • Handpainted silk art quilt with extensive applique "Asian Fusion"

    I hand painted all the silk fabric. The flowers, bird ect were appliqued on and thread painting used to add details and depth. It's what I call Asian Fusion. style Titled Under the cherry Tree.

  • Heliconia Flower

    Inspired by the heliconia or 'Bird of Paradise' flowers that grow in our garden. Constructed out of commercial batik fabrics and stitched using invisible machine applique and finished with machine quilting using a variegated cotton thread.
