Quilting Arts TV Episode 103

103 Embellishments and Encrustations
Embellishments such as beads, sequins, yarn, and even metal add dimension and sparkle. Create shimmering fabrics out of fibers that actually fuse together when heated.  The first feature is fabric foiling or adhering foils on fabric using fusible web. Then Betty Blais creates amazing embellishments using a specialty product for appliqués, collage, and moldable leaves. Next on the digital segment, Andrea Bishop shows how to add digital pics to our quilting.  Then it’s Sue Hausmann and machine trapunto quilting. Last up Mary Hettmansperger adds metal and embroidery to create a unique wall hanging with an Asian flair.
