When not sleeping on the chair at the sewing machine, I make quilt tops. I love quilted quilts, but don't quite get them quilted in a timely manner. I started (seriously) quilting in 1997. Beside collecting quilt tops, I collect fabric that I can't seem to cut. I have several friends that make Art Quilts, but try as I have I prefer the piecing of traditional quilts and use hand applique to keep in touch with my quilty self while traveling.
