I'm a homeschooling mom of 3, quilt maker, and fibre artist. My work is inspired by personal photos of the prairies. My art has been exhibited locally and I look forward to my 4th and 5th exhibits this year. I blog daily, featuring 'tips on tuesdays'. I am self taught and really enjoy the QA shows & magazines. I particularly enjoy thread painting and embellishing. My next move is to try soft sculpture and wearables. I've had my work in Quilter's Connections Magazine, A Needle Pulling Thread Magazine, and a postcard made it into Quilting Arts. I'm also the moderator of the swap group: PostCardCottage on yahoo. I'm in Canada and have been doing this on a daily basis for almost 5 years.
