Addicted to Scraps - Antique TileBlock
Antique Tile

This design is from the Addicted to Scraps series by Bonnie Hunter.

Bust your stash of strips and squares.

Instructions to make the 9″ Antique Tile block can be found in Bonnie Hunter’s Addicted to Scraps column in the September/October ’11 issue of Quiltmaker.

For a 63″ x 76″ throw (as shown), you will need 30 Antique Tile blocks and 20–9″ Ohio Star blocks. For the setting triangles, cut 5–14″ x 14″ squares; cut twice diagonally (you willo have 2 extra triangles). For the corner triangles, cut 2–7.25″ squares; cut once diagonally.

Sew the Antique Tile blocks, Ohio Star blocks and setting triangles into diagonal rows. Sew the rows together as shown. Add corner triangles to finish the quilt.
